Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the security of our clients' cloud environments and applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of security best practices.
Responsibilities:Conduct regular security audits of cloud environments, primarily AWS, to identify vulnerabilities and risks.Perform security assessments of applications to identify potential weaknesses.Execute penetration testing to uncover exploitable vulnerabilities.Develop and implement remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.Maintain and update security configurations for infrastructure and operating systems (Linux, Windows Server).Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in information security.Strong understanding of security principles and practices.Experience with cloud security, particularly AWS, including AWS WAF.Proficiency in penetration testing tools and methodologies.Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (Node.js, PHP, Ruby).Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation.Familiarity with Linux and Windows server administration.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.We offer a competitive salary, flexible work arrangements (remote or hybrid), opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
