Job Description Attend to all incoming telephone and e-mail inquiries.
Preparation of job quotations, including coding and pricing, in coordination with relevant Sales Manager and sister companies.
Process and expedite orders with the appropriate internal departments to ensure that the customer receives his goods by the required date and to the required specifications.
Support external sales team with specific customer account information Take responsibility for all jobs from the enquiry stage, right through to the delivery and collection of cash.
Inform customers of order progress and any changes in expected delivery date.
Once the goods are ready, ensure that they are dispatched to the customer with the correct paperwork Follow and adhere to all John Crane sales processes Assist finance in resolving payment issues in case of product discrepancies.
Monthly planning & reporting to ensure that the sales budget is achieved, where possible.
Creating and maintaining the customer/sales database on the company-shared folder Monitor all customer price agreements and contracts Any other duties as may be reasonably required of you by your manager Qualifications Computer proficiency in MS Office, and Outlook.
5 years' experience in a similar role Excellent MS Office background SAP Experience (ECP both transactional and service, C4C) Product knowledge or ability to learn about John Crane product portfolio & product codes.
