Customer Services ConsultantThe primary function of the Customer Services Consultant is to ensure deliverables across a range of administrative/support functions to Egoli Gas external customers as well as internal departments and to provide a high level of customer service excellence. The Customer Services Consultant is responsible for the S/O administration, follow-up, communication, customer interaction, and system updates.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Computer Literate (MS Office).Excellent telephone skills.A working knowledge of Cogsdale would be advantageous.Previous working experience within a customer service environment is non-negotiable.Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure that new service applications are completed in full, and all relevant documentation received, and system updated in line with company processes and requirements.For the Domestic/Commercial sectors, support the Business Consultants in terms of the opening of the customer file and finalizing new service installations.Responsible for ensuring that all deposit and connection fees are raised on all new accounts as required.Responsible for all transfer of ownership documentation and reconnection for the Domestic and Commercial sectors.Service Order Administration.Assist in all internal and external complaints/queries.Assist walk-in customers with all aspects of connecting to gas, including gas equipment demonstration and referral to SAPGA approved gas installers.Ensure adherence to the OHS Act and legal requirements.Behavioral Competencies:Strong verbal and written communication skills and above-average numeracy and literacy skills.Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.Ability to take initiative and strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent teamwork capabilities.Desired Experience & QualificationCustomer, Service, Consultant, ContractHR Services, Recruitment & Selection
