Job OverviewOwn strategic customer relationship to boost profitable category growth with Customers, in line with our ambitions by Negotiating Joint Business Plans, leveraging all relevant customer stakeholders and internal processes. Getting these Plans executed effectively. Delivering growth for Mars and target business shape in line with the growth agenda.
What are we looking for?Bachelor degree or Diploma - Marketing or Business related
3-5 years Sales management or Category management experience
Commercial acumen
Proven negotiation and selling skills
Advanced communication skills
Conflict management experience
What will be your key responsibilities?Be category partner of choice with account
Own customer plan/Joint Business Plan with account to boost category growth, sales, customer market shares and margin
Own category account P&L to deliver on target business shape
Responsible for the annual trading terms
Own category and brand execution in-store at account in the context of Perfect Store by:
Delivering the right assortment and NPD meeting target WD levels
Develop a tailored promo/support plan in line with the segment requirements
Creating great visibility on shelf, and off shelf (e.g. POI) --> customer/channel specific
Own Account volume forecast accuracy (baseline, NPD and promo) other channels: identifying new business opportunities
Drive compliance to Mars QMP (Quality Management Processes) standards
Context and ScopeDrive relationship through proactive contact and thought leadership
Develop and negotiate a compelling plan/JBP for mutual growth, utilizing key insights generated by customer & category.
Leverage the activation team to boost in-store presence and promotional exection
Identify specific key growth drivers (e.g. WD, share of shelf, POI, assort. and prod. mix, promo), and optimize trade invest. and Pay for Performance
Engage internal and third party sales resources to ensure consistent delivery against target by:
Delivering targeted portfolio strategy with Category Managers
Generating the most effective and efficient promo through collaboration with customer marketing and finance.
Maximizing in-store impact through collaboration with Customer Marketers
Collaborate with DP Analysts on baseline, promo and NPD forecasts
Monitoring trade investments/agreements to ensure compliance and take correcting actions
