Ref: CTS 415497 - Lifting Machinery Inspector – RustenburgEmployer DescriptionThis is a company that supplies lifting equipment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will be:To provide site inspections for various mines based in Rustenburg.On-Site Service and repairs to all makes of beams, electric overhead cranes, electric rope hoists, electric chain hoists, mechanical chain-blocks, and lever blocks, including ancillary equipment like festoon systems, supply systems, and safety systems (scope dependent).Installation and calibration of load limiting devices (scope dependent).In-house strip and quotes to electric overhead cranes, electric rope hoists, electric chain hoists, mechanical chain-blocks, and lever blocks, including ancillary equipment (scope dependent).In-house repairs to electric overhead cranes, electric rope hoists, electric chain hoists, mechanical chain-blocks, and lever blocks, including ancillary equipment (scope dependent).In-house proof load testing to beams, electric overhead travelling cranes, electric rope hoists, and chain hoists (scope dependent).Modifications to upgrade electrical and mechanical units (scope dependent).Client liaison, administration, and correspondence.Desired Experience & QualificationQualificationsMatricLifting Machinery CertificateSkills5 years experience within the lifting machinery industry.Complete knowledge of lifting equipment.Medicals must be in order and have good health.Be prepared to spend time travelling, being away from home every month.Work extended hours (overtime).Valid Driver's Licence.Package & RemunerationSalary / PackageR40,000 - R50,000 CTC PM
