Cross Border Sales Specialist

We are seeking a Cross Border Sales Specialist, and it focuses on express logistics.
The role will involve driving business growth in Zambia and Namibia, with a particular emphasis on the push and pull system in Africa.
Responsibilities: Focus on new business development across borders, targeting opportunities in Zambia, Namibia, and other regions.
Regular cross-border travel will be required, potentially with a base in Boksburg.
Budget-driven, with performance based on measurable outcomes.
Daily targets will be set to track and evaluate performance.
Identify and pursue new cross-border business opportunities to expand market reach.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with international clients and partners.
Conduct research on international markets to understand customer needs and industry trends.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve competitive positioning.
Ensure all cross-border sales activities comply with customs, trade regulations, and import/export laws.
Manage necessary documentation for international shipments, including invoices, shipping documents, and compliance certifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs and achieve satisfaction.
Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of cross-border transactions.
Partner with finance teams to manage pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
Track sales performance metrics and create regular reports for management.
Set and achieve revenue targets in line with company objectives.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Cultural awareness and adaptability for dealing with diverse international clients.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international sales or cross-border trade.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in international markets.
Knowledge of customs procedures and trade compliance regulations.
Strong understanding of international trade laws and regulations.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in additional languages (preferred).
Experience working in industries involving logistics, supply chain, or export/import processes.
