The team's current responsibilities include technology, product and digital design services, software engineering, data management, warehousing, analysis, reporting, website development, app development, and supporting hospitality platforms and technology. Our international team is based in Paarl, South Africa, at Babylonstoren in Somerset, UK, at The Newt in Somerset, and at offices in Bristol, UK.
Role Description
We have an exciting position for someone with an eye for detail and a passion for data and customer experience. For this position, you will need to deeply understand our Customer Relationship Management system, HubSpot, its capabilities and integration with other systems across our estates.
This includes building new workflows and dashboards/reports, ensuring data integrity in our customer database, and analysing data to make recommendations to our business teams across estates. We're looking for someone with business savvy and technical skills who will assist us in creating exceptional customer experiences.
You will join an established data team to provide analysis and insight across our growing hospitality and e-commerce businesses. The team has built a solid foundation of core reports and is planning to expand into different parts of the business units and deliver new, more sophisticated types of analyses. You will play a key role in helping the data team achieve its long-term mission: to embed data into every decision, interaction, and process throughout the business units. To do this, you will partner with a wide range of teams across our globally distributed organisation, build deep expertise in their business areas, and help them realise the true value of the data they collect.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in analytical or marketing field
Minimum 3 years' work experience
Strong analytical and data-wrangling skills
Interpersonal skills, including written and communication skills
Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) beneficial
Experience working with BI tools beneficial (Tableau/Looker/Power BI)
Responsibilities
Creation and maintenance of email workflows
Build and manage email templates and forms
Set up new users and manage roles and access according to GDPR legislation
Ensure data consistency and integrity with other internal systems
Troubleshoot and solve technical issues with the HubSpot team
Work with our marketing teams to ensure we are getting the most out of our CRM platform
Database cleaning, i.e., performing regular checks to maintain the health of our database
Collaboration with marketing teams across estates to provide CRM support
Set up automation for various internal and external processes
Train new and existing HubSpot users across our estates
Design and build new reports and dashboards in Tableau/Power BI/Google Looker Studio
