Information Analyst PositionOnline Intelligence (Pty) Ltd is the leading supplier of Enterprise Risk Solutions (ERS) across the African continent. We currently have a vacancy for an Information Analyst based at our Pretoria offices.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs and when required, the support in various projects includes:Information collection (Identification of data sources internally as well as externally to the industry, daily data collection from various sources of information, liaison with governmental organizations, and representation on relevant forums).Information clean-up, importation, and quality assurance (Facilitation of data clean-up, importation of data sets where applicable, data quality assurance).Creating application queries, scheduled reports, notifications, alerts, dashboards, etc. as required by the client.Report development and writing as per client request.Conducting analysis to identify specific threats and risks with the objective to predict future data trends and develop countermeasures and best practices.Tactical crime analysis (profiling and link-chart development).Providing support and enhancing business intelligence available to the operational teams.RequirementsMinimum requirements include:Ability to maintain work-related records and prepare reports.Ability to handle confidential and secret information.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Good knowledge and working experience on Windows Outlook and Internet.Quick learner on software applications.Effective planning, organization, multitasking, report writing, and time management skills.Ability to work with minimum supervision.No criminal record and a lifestyle that can stand up to intense vetting and clearance scrutiny.Proficient in English.Desired Experience & QualificationSouth African CitizenMinimum Honours in Criminology or related experience;Software application and technical knowledge;CiiMS product knowledge would be advantageous;Logical and analytical proficiency.Travelling to clients within South Africa will be a requirement (reliable vehicle a requirement).
