Creditors Clerk

Creditors Clerk: Our client, a well-known company in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Creditors Clerk for one of their KZN branches. They are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and a passion for finance to join their dynamic team reporting to the Creditors Team Leader, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs:

Responsibilities: Processing of all raw material/ transport/ maintenance intercompany creditors. Check prices, qty's purchase orders before processing. Reconciliation of raw material/ maintenance and intercompany creditors Attend to creditors queries. Attend to new supplier credit applications. Month end payment proposals. Prepare month end schedules (external transport/freight & other/design charges/Stk FG transport/Maintenance) Prepare and process journal entries where necessary Monthly and ad hoc reporting to Financial/Commercial Manager Management of petty cash Requirements: Grade 12 qualification coupled with a Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Bookkeeping A minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience in the same or similar role SAP experience would be an advantage Effective communication on all levels with Internal & External customers A good administrative track record Excellent MS Excel skills Excellent numeric skills
