Qualifications / Requirements:
• Matric
• Pastel and Excel experience essential
• Deadline driven, attention to detail, accurate and organized
• Experience in:
• Receiving and processing supplier invoices accurately and timeously
• Verifying invoices received match purchase orders
• Preparing and processing payments to suppliers, ensuring accuracy
• Reconciling supplier statements with accounts payable records to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
• Communicating with suppliers regarding invoice and payment enquiries resolving issues promptly
• Monitoring and managing accounts payable aging, following up on overdue invoices and coordinating with suppliers to resolve payment issues
• Assisting in month-end closing procedures
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
• Generating regular reports on accounts payable status
