Position Overview:
My client is looking for a diligent Credit Risk Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join their metals division. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills, experience in credit risk reporting and analysis, and the ability to perform in-depth financial and economic analysis. This role involves monitoring and reviewing credit risks, delivering routine reports, and collecting and analyzing data for various reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Risk Monitoring:
Continuously monitor and review credit risks associated with the metals division.
Conduct thorough analysis to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Reporting and Analysis:
Deliver routine credit risk reports to the team, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and report on credit risk data.
Prepare and present in-depth financial and economic analysis for various reports.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect and analyze both micro and macroeconomic data relevant to the metals division.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other team members and departments to gather necessary information and provide comprehensive risk assessments.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within the commodities trading or metals industry.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial and economic analysis.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in reporting and data collection.
Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to various audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with credit risk management software and tools.
Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager).
