Credit Risk Analyst

You will be responsible for assessing and managing credit risk throughout the lifecycle of unsecured loans, from origination to collections and provisions. This includes monitoring portfolio performance, creating dashboards, producing reports on portfolio health, and conducting in-depth analysis to support data-driven credit strategy decisions.Responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of credit strategies for unsecured loansConduct credit risk analysis throughout the loan lifecycleMonitor credit exposures, collections, and provisioningAssess the effectiveness of credit strategiesRun impairment models and prepare provisioning reportsEnhance reporting processes to identify trends and improve portfolio insightsAutomate dashboards and streamline data extraction/transformationInvestigate data anomalies to ensure accuracy and reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insightsQualifications and Skills:BCom Honours in Economics, Finance, or related fieldStrong analytical skills for problem-solving and clear communication of findingsProficiency in coding (SAS, SQL, Python, or similar) for data extraction and transformationExperience in dashboard building (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and report creationFamiliarity with scorecard development and credit risk model buildingStrong presentation skills (PowerPoint) and experience presenting findingsMinimum of 3 years of experience in a credit risk environment, covering various aspects of the credit lifecycle (customer management, collections, provisioning)
