Objective Collect and analyze data to guide the business in credit decision-making processes to identify the creditworthiness for business-to-business credit transactions. Responsibilities · Comprehensive credit research on various entities using a variety of sources, including but not limited to, o Obtaining trade references and bank codes o using existing data sources to integrate information into the Debtsource system. o Obtaining financial statements from the subject. This includes the ability to understand and capture relevant information required for the limit-decisioning process. o Conducting subject interviews to validate data obtained. o Utilizing all other potential data sources to ensure all factors regarding the subject are considered. · Validating the accuracy of the data to ensure that it produces correct information. Skills Required Proficiency, being written and verbal communications in English and Afrikaans would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills at all levels of management as well as telephone etiquette. Understanding and ability to assess financial statements as well as management accounts. Organizational and time management skills. A systematic and methodical approach to research, ensuring accuracy and reliability of information. Capable of gathering, analyzing and interpreting data from various sources to support the decision-making process. Ability to ensure that all work is completed with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and minimizing errors. A credit management or financial qualification would be advantageous.
