Job Overview:The Credit Department Intern will support the credit team by performing administrative and analytical tasks related to credit management and customer accounts.
This role is ideal for individuals pursuing or having completed a BCom in Business Administration, offering valuable exposure to credit control processes within the hospitality industry.Responsibilities:Credit ManagementAssist in maintaining accurate customer credit records.Support in the review and analysis of customer credit applications.Data Entry & ReconciliationAccurately enter credit-related data into internal systems.Assist in reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.ReportingHelp in preparing monthly credit reports and customer statements.Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.ComplianceSupport the credit team in ensuring compliance with credit policies and financial regulations.Assist in preparing documentation for audits.Administrative SupportProvide administrative assistance for credit-related projects.Help organise and maintain files and records for the credit department.Benefits:Understanding the administrative back-end of operating a business.Hands-on experience in credit management processesMentorship from experienced professionals in the credit and finance sectorsExposure to the financial operations of the hospitality industry.Experience:Pursuing or recently completed a BCom in Business Administration.Knowledge of credit policies and basic financial principles is advantageous.
