We are dedicated to transforming the face of trade, expanding our operations rapidly to better connect businesses and consumers worldwide.Location: Cape Town, ZACredit ExecutivePurpose of the JobFixed Term Contract - 4 monthsJob DescriptionResponsible for Collections of the Cape Town BookObtain customer satisfaction with regards to timely delivery of Statements & invoicesManage collectors' plans to optimize collection targetsScheduled meetings are held with CRM on their defaulting customers; minutes compiled with the person responsible and time deadlines to actionReport on top 20 accounts overdue on 60 days and email Credit & Branch managers weeklyMonitor and action all accounts 60 days and over as per AR – Collection processEnsure all unallocated cash is accounted forMonitor unallocated credits 30 days and overCompile monthly reports and as they are requested on deadline timeEnsure "Reminder" letters are sent to defaulting customersEnsure all queries are resolved timelyEnsure all accounts are maintained according to their payment terms / Credit reviewsEnsure all payments are allocated accurately on customer accountsEnsure all credit control procedures are followed and targets are metMonitor credit limits on a weekly basisTrust and handling of cash and financesAdhere to all policies and documented proceduresJob Responsibilities - Experience and EducationBTech/ Bcom AccountingMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar roleExcellent Reconciliation skillsMin 2 years SAP ExperienceMicrosoft Excel & WordSkillsWell organized / Time managementAbility to work well under pressure
