Summary: Control of customer receipting function as well as administration of supplier vetting database.Responsible for:Daily Receipting of customer payments from bank statementsReceipting of cash depositsReconciliation and maintaining of all customer accountsPreparation and dispatching monthly customer statementsBalancing up Accounts Receivable to General Ledger for month end close-offReleasing sales orders for cash accounts on SysproLiaising with customers regarding upcoming and outstanding paymentsWeekly cash flow reportsWeekly age analysis report to managementDebtor adjustments on SysproCollection of documents for annual customer reviewsChecks on sales batching documentation and filingAdministration of supplier vetting processQualifications and experience required:Minimum Grade 12 / Matric CertificateMinimum of 3 years relevant financial experienceComputer literacy using the following packages:Must be computer literateKnowledge of Syspro would be an advantageSkills required:Team Player / dedicatedProactive, able to work independentlyAbility to converse fluently in English; Afrikaans will be an added advantageFollow procedures and instructions timeously and accuratelyHigh level of accuracy, motivation and commitment to service excellenceDue to the nature of the job, you may be required to work overtime from time to time.
