Credit Controller

Join my client's dynamic team where your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient collection and management of their accounts receivable.

This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively contact debtors via phone and send demand letters to collect outstanding debts.
Promptly address and resolve client billing and utility inquiries.
Oversee the administration and management of multiple accounts receivable ledgers.
Reconcile debtor accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ensure credit notes are issued promptly to correct any discrepancies.
Allocate any unassigned payments to the appropriate debtor accounts once they are received.
Prepare and present monthly reports on overdue accounts and payment queries.
Submit monthly reports on arrears and cases involving legal action.
Collaborate with legal professionals to recover unpaid debts when necessary.
Provide backup support to other credit controllers within the organization during absences or leave periods.

Qualifications and Experience needed:
Matric or Credit management qualification
5 years experience within the property industry is non-negotiable
MRI / MDA software
Book value of R40 million and more
