Credit Controller

My client is a dynamic and growing company within the FMCG industry with a strong focus on delivering quality products and services to their customers. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role is based in Midrand, Gauteng. Key Responsibilities: Handle pricing, return, and short received claims efficiently and accurately. Manage large volumes of transactions with attention to detail. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding balances. Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients to assess creditworthiness. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Negotiate payment plans and agreements with customers as needed. Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts and collections. Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure a smooth credit control process. Qualifications and Experience needed: 3 years proven experience as a Credit Controller. Worked in an FMCG industry (preferred). Strong understanding of credit control procedures and policies. Ability to manage large volumes of transactions effectively. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
