Duties & Responsibilities: Credit Risk Assessment: Conduct in-depth credit assessments of new and existing clients, analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and relevant data to determine creditworthiness. Develop risk profiles, set appropriate credit limits, and make recommendations based on findings. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory requirements affecting credit decisions. Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis and cash flow modeling to assess the credit risk of clients. Identify potential risks and propose strategies to mitigate them, ensuring all lending activities align with company risk tolerance. Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor existing credit portfolios for changes in financial health, creditworthiness, and market conditions. Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, highlighting areas of concern and recommending proactive measures to minimize risk exposure. Collaboration & Relationship Management: Work closely with sales, finance, and legal teams to provide recommendations and align strategies for managing client accounts. Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing credit-related concerns and providing support where needed . Compliance & Process Improvement: Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, industry regulations, and best practices in credit risk management. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance credit evaluation efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications & Skills Required: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role. Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills. Proven expertise in assessing credit risk, analyzing financial statements, and making sound recommendations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. High attention to detail and proficiency in relevant financial software and systems.
