Human by nature.Creative Fragrance Manager – South Africa - Your future position?Every discovery you make, shapes joyful memories for millions.We are recruiting for a Creative Fragrance Manager (CFM) with cross category experience, to lead a small Evaluation team, based in South Africa.Our CFM's are fragrance development specialists whose primary goal is to successfully deliver fragrances to our customers, that delights the consumers in the region. To do so, CFM's understand the market and the consumer's behaviour and preferences, having a strategic view to analyse current olfactive trends, while forecasting future ones.The role will focus on the customers in Sub Saharan Africa, and you will be responsible for the fragrance development activities, alongside Account Managers (Sales), Marketing, Consumer Market Research, and Laboratory experts. You will need to ensure quick turnaround response to customers' briefs utilizing existing systems and set up of Givaudan. In addition, you will need to manage and develop evaluators in the team handling specific categories or geographies.The Creative Fragrance manager will report to the Creative Fragrance Team Director.In this exciting role, you will:Develop olfactory strategy for clients, market, category and guide Perfumery teams accordingly.Manage/execute multiple complex briefs and develop or select fragrances according to the given brief guidelines.Liaise with other regional creative centres, as necessary, to complete project assignments.Define fragrances to be tested and coordinate with CMI.Translate CMI results into olfactory guidelines for perfumers.Participate in olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative Development.Develop new fragrances with Perfumers on a pro-active basis.Work with lab on testing product stability.Follow and understand the Best Practices and efficiency improvement opportunities.Industry and MarketingAnticipate market tastes; work closely with marketing colleagues on proactive concept generation.Write olfactory summaries of a region/market and customer for knowledge-building & sharing.Conduct customer presentations/interactions.Demonstrate consistent track records of new wins.Activation and GalleryBuild and curate the best in class fragrance collection, responding to gap analysis, market needs, market trends and incorporating Givaudan technologies.Manage fast and efficient selection of fragrances for activation projects from oil or blind.You?Are you someone who wants to grow and shape your own world?
