The Creative Digital Lead should have strong knowledge of evolving trends in design and social media, and constantly be trying to create new and exciting work. They will need to be able to work proactively under their own initiative, be extremely organised, and have the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time. They will be working across all creative assets needed for Flash's digital channels.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designing and developing digital content for web and social media, including animation/motion graphics and video editing.
360 creative conceptualising of all branded communications - you will have the opportunity to shape all aspects of a brand from static design to moving image.
Working to briefs and deadlines, delivering beautifully finished assets in a timely manner.
Getting signoff/approval before finalising artwork.
Adapting and rolling out approved concepts to various media platforms.
Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour platform specific.
Work on multiple briefs at the same time.
Be comfortable working with internal stakeholders on creating agile, frictionless solutions to creative output. This includes planning, troubleshooting and prioritisation.
Managing a team of creatives, working with designers and writers to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns from start to finish, that disrupt and impact our customers and build our brands.
Be able to contribute toward the education, inspiration and sourcing of best in practice, best in class - digital & social first solutions.

LEADERSHIP PERFORMANCE AREAS

Providing real-time, ongoing coaching and feedback to team members throughout the year.
On-time completion of performance management activities including regular 1:1s and Bi-annual performance reviews through GPS.
Supporting employee development including facilitation of career development conversations and crafting development plans for current and future needs.
Taking action to hire and retain high-performers and address poor performance.
Proactively manage change initiatives within the team including sufficient planning/ preparation and communication to minimise disruption and support employee adoption.
Role modelling the behaviours that support and drive the Flash culture and values.




MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Tertiary qualification in Art Direction or related fields.
8+ years' experience in digital design and art direction, agency experience is preferred.
Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Experience using After Effects – Not essential but desirable.
Adept at digital design forms. Ie. Designing for social media templates such as Instagram, FaceBook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube and Linkedin.
Expert Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Keynote, Google Docs.
