Job DescriptionCreative Director with CRM, Direct, Loyalty experienceWe're looking for an experienced Creative Director with an amazing portfolio that demonstrates expertise in Direct Marketing, CRM and Loyalty (across a range of channels).RequirementsManage a creative team of 2 writers, 4 designers, 1 DTP operator, and freelancers as neededBe responsible for all creative output across all clientsInspire, manage and motivate the team through regular check-ins and initiativesHave a conceptual bent, and be able to crack concepts, with and without the team, and review those presented to you, as well as improving and building on ideas presentedManage the delivery of the briefs/concepts through to final deliverables together with Traffic, ensuring all artworks are delivered on time and to specificationPresent strategy, ideas and creative to stakeholders for sign offAssist with the broader creative team's workload where appropriate from a copywriting or design perspective. This is a hands-on role, and you will need to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the day-to-dayReview all copy and design that comes out of the studio across all clients to ensure the work remains to a high-standardUnderstand metrics, and weigh-in on results with ideas on how to optimize campaigns and programsHelp with strategy across new business, pitches, and current clients according to needsUnderstand customer touchpoints and journeys and channel matrices in order to craft solutions for clients and prospective clientsParticipate in Publicis Creative Counsel initiatives, and attend meetings of the broader Africa and Global creative teamManaging and crafting awards entries and case studiesQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification5 years+ working experience as a Creative Director in the loyalty, DM and CRM fields, leading a team of creativesA good command of the English language (both written and verbal)Strong presentation skills and leadership experienceAwards for effectiveness
