Role Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing relevant designs and appealing artworks that align with our traditional and contemporary marketing strategies, including social media.
The Creative Designer will also be heavily involved in the ideation of marketing concepts for campaigns intended to deepen the PayAngel brand visibility and overall brand perception.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and celebrating the PayAngel brand, remain current with social media trends, and ensure marketing efforts resonate with the target audience. The CD will also collaborate with our passionate team to deliver impactful designs that inspire and engage our communities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Design Creation
Develop visually appealing and relevant designs for various platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and print materials.
Market Intelligence
Remain current with the latest trends in social media, design, and market awareness to ensure our marketing efforts are current and effective.
Brand
Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity across all marketing channels.
Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content that aligns with our marketing strategies and goals.
Innovation
Bring fresh and creative ideas to the table, pushing the boundaries of traditional and digital design.
Project Management
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
Competency Specification
Education
Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Required Experience Level
2-3 years related experience.
Key Competencies/Skills (Must haves)
Graphic Design Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Proven experience in creating designs for both digital and print media.
Social Media Design: Experience designing content specifically for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter). Understanding of social media trends and best practices.
Branding: Experience in maintaining and developing brand identity. Ability to create cohesive visual content that aligns with brand guidelines.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the fintech or financial services industry. Understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends.
Collaboration: Experience working closely with marketing teams and other stakeholders to develop and execute creative strategies.
Desired Competencies (added advantage)
Motion Graphics: Skills in creating animations or motion graphics using tools like After Effects.
Web Design: Experience with web design tools and understanding of UX/UI principles.
Photography and Videography: Basic skills in photography and video editing.
Copywriting: Basic copywriting skills to complement visual designs. Ability to create engaging captions and text for social media posts.
Emerging Technologies: Experience with AR/VR design or other emerging technologies.
Project Management: Experience managing design projects from concept to completion. Familiarity with project management concepts and tools.
