As the Country Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping OSRAM's presence across South Africa and regional markets. Your mission will be to drive the growth of our Automotive Aftermarket portfolio by building strong relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and executing strategic plans to achieve market leadership.
This position requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with a passion for customer success, profitability, and innovation in the automotive industry.
Strategic Account Management: Build, manage, and develop strong relationships with key accounts within the automotive aftermarket industry. Collaborate with partners to ensure alignment with OSRAM's strategic goalsMarket Growth & Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand OSRAM's market share in South Africa and neighboring countries. Leverage market insights to penetrate untapped segments and geographiesStrategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key accounts, driving sales growth and optimizing marketing investments. Align strategies with OSRAM's regional and global objectivesSales Growth & Marketing Initiatives: Plan and execute promotional activities to boost sales and increase brand visibility. Conduct ROI analyses to ensure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize resourcesCustomer Insights & Analysis: Analyze customer strategies, market trends, and competitive dynamics to tailor OSRAM's value propositions. Perform benchmarking and identify gaps for business opportunitiesContract Negotiations & Deal Management: Lead negotiations on contracts, tenders, and pricing agreements, ensuring favorable outcomes while fostering long-term partnershipsPerformance Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports on key metrics, including revenue, profit, market share, and account performanceMinimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in the Automotive Aftermarket industryBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related fieldStrong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing tendersDemonstrated ability to create win-win solutions and foster collaborative relationshipsExcellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skillsFluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, Afrikaans is a plusKnowledge of South Africa's automotive market and regional regulations is an advantage
