Country Lead - South AfricaWe are seeking an accomplished Country Lead to spearhead strategic and operational growth in South Africa, responsible for scaling our operations, meeting revenue targets, and ensuring outstanding service quality across locations.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Market ExpansionDevelop and implement market entry and growth strategies aligned with company goals and local market needs.Identify and secure high-impact partnerships to drive customer acquisition, enhance brand presence, and achieve revenue targets.Conduct market analysis to continuously adapt business strategies to consumer trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in South Africa.Revenue & Performance ManagementOwning P&L responsibilities for the South African market, with a focus on achieving aggressive revenue and profitability targets.Designing and implementing data-driven processes to monitor key performance indicators, optimize operational efficiency, and control costs.Closely collaborating with the finance team to forecast revenue, budget expenditures, and ensure sustainable growth across operations.Operational Leadership & EfficiencyOverseeing day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring seamless coordination between kitchen, delivery, and support teams.Developing and refining operational processes to enhance service quality, reduce delivery times, and improve overall customer satisfaction.Driving technology adoption and process improvements to create scalable systems, collaborating closely with tech and logistics teams.Team Development and Cross-functional CollaborationBuilding, leading, and motivating a high-performing team across various functions, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.Overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management to cultivate strong leadership and high morale within the team.Working closely with marketing, customer service, and supply chain teams to align operational goals with brand and customer experience objectives.Customer Experience and Quality AssuranceEnsuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service are maintained consistently across all locations, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.Partnering with customer experience teams to gather and act on customer feedback, proactively improving offerings and creating loyal customers.Fostering a customer-centric mindset within the team to minimize complaints and maximize positive feedback on food and service quality.Requirements7+ years of experience in high-growth, customer-focused industries, with a track record of scaling operations and leading large teams.Proven experience in managing P&L, driving revenue growth, and meeting strict performance targets.Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making and performance optimization.Demonstrated success in creating cross-functional collaboration and building high-performance teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.Leadership: Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.Business Acumen: Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and resource optimization, with a strategic mindset for scaling operations.Operational Excellence: Hands-on experience with process improvement, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service.Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the flexibility to respond to market changes and seize new opportunities.Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Estimated Salary:R 1,200,000 - R 1,500,000 per annum
