A well-established company in the East Rand is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team!Requirements:Degree in Accounting or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar roleStrong background in accountingBasic skills in financial analysis and controlProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to self-motivate and work independently while keeping to deadlinesStrong communication skillsKey Duties:Reporting and Analysis:Timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, including monthly consolidation of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, and supporting management decisions with financial analysis and ad hoc reports.Financial Management:Oversee payroll systems, changes, and compliance with legislation; prepare and submit tax calculations and returns (VAT, EMP, IRP6).Manage B-BBEE, Employment Equity and Skills Development.Process Optimization and Compliance:Optimize business processes for audits and ensure adherence to internal procedures and external regulations.Credit Management:Monitor and manage credit limits and standing of counterparties; address late payments and credit issues, and maintain relationships with external service providers.Team Leadership:Lead, evaluate, and develop financial staff; cooperate with accounting for accurate and compliant financial operations.Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:Handle additional tasks as needed, supporting various financial and operational activities.Desired Skills:Financial ManagerFinance ManagerReportingPayrollComplianceFinancial ControllerEmployer & Job Benefits:Medical aidFuel card and cellphone package
