Requirements: Degree in Accounting or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar roleStrong background in accountingBasic skills in financial analysis and controlProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to self-motivate and work independently while keeping to deadlinesStrong communication skillsKey Duties:Reporting and Analysis:Timely and accurate reporting to stakeholdersMonthly consolidation of Profit and Loss and Balance SheetSupport management decisions with financial analysis and ad hoc reportsFinancial Management:Oversee payroll systems, changes and compliance with legislationPrepare and submit tax calculations and returns (VAT, EMP, IRP6)Manage B-BBEE, Employment Equity and Skills DevelopmentProcess Optimization and Compliance:Optimize business processes for auditsEnsure adherence to internal procedures and external regulationsCredit Management:Monitor and manage credit limits and standing of counterpartiesAddress late payments and credit issues and maintain relationships with external service providersTeam Leadership:Lead, evaluate and develop financial staffCooperate with accounting for accurate and compliant financial operationsAd-Hoc Responsibilities:Handle additional tasks as needed, supporting various financial and operational activities
