Position:Counselor: Life CoachGrade:B4M1Position Purpose:To ensure that the member is well informed and educated to mitigate the risk associated with illness which will limit hospitalization, mortality and further health degradation and costsExperience:2-3 years counselling in a hospital or clinical experience, providing patient careQualifications:Relevant B Psych degree.
Current registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)Client service delivery and quality- Follow procedures and cooperate with peers and leader for best possible service deliveryCompetency Requirements:Knowledge-Knowledge and application of relevant legislation-Application of financial and risk assessment methodology-Knowledge of scheme rules and contractual negotiationsSkill-Customer Focus-Business Writing Skills-Technical expertise in functional area-Data modelling and evaluation-Attention to Accuracy and Detail-Ability to negotiate and influence-Knowledge and application of clinical intervention principles-Knowledge and application of clinical risk assessment-Report writing and presentation skills-Communication Skills-Computer Technology Skills-Task Management-Adobe Creative Suite-Problem solving and decision making skills-Numerical Ability
