Are you passionate about the automotive industry and have a knack for numbers? We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Costing Clerk. As a vital member of our Service department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cost calculations and to keep our financial gears running smoothly.
Salary Structure:

Basic Monthly Salary
Monthly Commission Structure
Provident Fund and Medical Aid Benefits

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Grade 12; additional education or training in financial field is a plus.
Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry preferred.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Knowledge of automotive dealership operations and terminology is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform detailed analysis of costs associated with vehicle services & repairs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Costing and claiming of job cards as per manufacturers systems requirements and standards
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Remain current with all manufacturer campaigns (recalls) and bulletins
Prepare and process billing statements for the aftersales department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and dealership policies.
