Costing Accountant Temp

Purpose of the role:
The primary objective of this role will be to assist the Supply Chain Costing Accountant in their daily activities during the export season of BerryWorld SA (Pty) Ltd.
Duties:

Assist the Costing Accountant by checking and validating creditor invoices received by comparing the information to what is captured on the export system (Bex).
Assist the Costing Accountant to keep track of creditors' invoices on the invoice checklist and compare the checklist with the invoices captured on the export system (Bex).
Follow up on invoices and queries as assigned by the Costing Accountant and resolving these queries as promptly as possible.
Assist the Costing Accountant to maintain the deduction logs per grower to ensure accurate cost recharges.
Assist the Costing Accountant with the preparation of the monthly intake reports.
Assist the Costing Accountant in identifying any deviation/anomalies as well as the possible causes thereof. Work closely with costing accountant to ensure all operational costs are captured on the export system and check that it correlate with actual creditor invoices received.



Formal education:

Matriculation
BComm Accounting tertiary diploma/certificate

Job-related experience:

Costing Accounting Experience
Experience in the perishable export industry (desirable)
Drivers license and own transport
