Role Responsibilities Update project monthly cash flow and liaise with finance. Update and submit the monthly executive reports. Prepare and assist with board and steercom presentations. Audit coordination. Manage Prism budgets. Reviewing, approving and rejecting purchase requisitions submitted by procurement specialist Update data on cost control system Review & apply for commitment status and funding with each package manager Correct coding errors on SAP & Prism Package fund optimization and identification of potential savings Initiate Declaration of Reserve, Request for Allowances, and Internal budget transfers Project Controls Costing and Funding Memo's Monthly cost and finance reporting. Integrate schedule and cost data Routinely convene workshops between all planning and costing personnel to ensure alignment and that all project scope is covered within the monthly reports. Integrate the schedule and the cost within Prism and review the impact of the project performance indices. Publish all project approved changes within Prism Generate project package manager reports Ensure P6 and Prism G2 alignment Analyse project earned value indices
Skills required Knowledge of Prism and SAP an advantage. Desire to actively broaden your experience and expertise in line with the core expertise Client interface level of responsibility on a project basis in conjunction Ability to advise clients on strategic matters, key cost drivers, project costs and added value Knowledge and understanding of construction and engineering project costs Experienced in client, consultant and contractor facing roles and working as a member of a busy team. Used to working to tight and ever-changing deadlines Managing interfaces with design and construction teams You should possess a willingness to continue to develop your career through ongoing self-learning and our training programme
Minimum Requirements A relevant qualification, BSc (Qs), AACE or BTech or Engineering Degree qualification Previous experience of providing complete estimating/cost control function on major projects Expert understanding of estimate requirements in engineering & mining projects Registration with AACE an advantage Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with cost engineering software
