Cost and Admin ControllerOur Client, based in Durban, is looking for a Cost and Admin Controller to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesServe as a central point of contact for office communication, directing relevant information to plant and office personnel.Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings to ensure smooth operations.Maintain organised paper and electronic filing systems for plants and office records.Accurately capture and submit data within specified deadlines.Reconcile and process relevant invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Minute meetings and manage the diary of the Director.Generate, monitor, and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders for invoices.Analyse plant costs, identify deviations, and assist in implementing corrective measures.Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.Support the implementation and monitoring of performance metrics and improvement plans.Conduct statistical studies to enhance process efficiency.Compile, coordinate, and collate budgets and forecasts in collaboration with plant personnel and finance.Ensure compliance with legal and company policies, including safety, health, and environmental regulations.Desired Experience & QualificationMatricBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience analysing plant costs, identifying deviations, and assisting with implementing corrective action.Strong business numeracy and computer literacy skills.Knowledge of operations, safety, health, and environmental regulations.Interested?Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 5 days for an interview.
