Job Description United Exports is a fully integrated international fruit breeder, producer, and exporter specializing in pioneering new blueberry varieties.Our flagship blueberry brand, OZblu, is revolutionising the industry and setting new global standards.Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role supports the air-, sea-, and road teams by updating and maintaining costs in the ERP- and export systems, creating purchase orders, checking and signing off invoices, and submitting them for payments.The incumbent will also be responsible for following up on payment queries.Key Performance Outputs: Create purchase orders for sea-, air- and road shipments Flag cost increases and obtain information on cost drivers Follow up and check vendor invoices Sign off invoices and forward for processing Dispute incorrect rate and charges on invoices, request credit notes Follow up on payment queries Maintain cost matrixes Interpersonal relationship building with logistics and finance Rebate reconciliations Assist with budget preparations Onboard new vendors Assist with other logistics tasks and functions as required Requirements Qualifications/Experience: Senior certificate / Grade 12 / Matric (Accounting subjects beneficial) Minimum 2 years work experience in the fruit industry Experience in exports, ai- and/or sea freight beneficial Technical/Functional: Computer literacy: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent Email etiquette Understanding the cost chain from start to finish ERP and/or export systems knowledge Requirements Minimum Education/Qualification/Experience: Senior certificate / grade 12 / matric Suitable tertiary qualification.Minimum 2 years of perishable transport coordination experience Leadership/Behavioural · Excellent communication skills; verbal and written · Effective negotiation skills · Excellent planning, organisational skills · Building and maintaining good interpersonal relationships · Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously · Ability to act with tact and discretion, whilst being assertive · Problem solver, ready to take on any challenges · Ability to work outside normal business hours, as required Functional/Technical · Excellent Computer literacy: MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) · Systems knowledge (ie Dipar, Netsuite, etc.)· Knowledge of road transport types and costs
