Qualification and Experience: BCom Accounting degree / Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting CIMA 2 years costing experience Experience in a manufacturing / FMCG environment SAP Standard costing Job Description (Responsibilities): Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, providing insights that drive informed decision-making Analyse and manage costs associated with production, optimizing profitability and ensuring competitive pricing Monitor and investigate discrepancies between actual and standard costs to improve cost control and efficiency Leverage a deep understanding of costing methodologies to contribute to the strategic development and pricing of new products Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accurate asset tracking Collaborate effectively with various departments to align financial objectives with operational goals Play a key role in the budgeting process, forecasting financial requirements and supporting strategic financial planning Evaluate potential investments by analysing their financial viability and long-term impact on the business, guiding strategic decision-making
