Cost Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join a fast growing manufacturing company, and supplier to the FMCG market, to be based in Atlantis, Western Cape.
The company is a subsidiary of a diverse group, and the attraction in this role is that it could have a strongly upward career trajectory, for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform cost analysis and reporting for manufacturing operations.
Develop and maintain cost standards for raw materials, labour, and overhead.
Monitor and analyze inventory variances, wastage, and production inefficiencies.
Collaborate with the production and finance teams to develop and implement cost control measures.
Assist in preparing monthly management reports, including variance analysis and financial forecasts.
Support the budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.


Qualifications and Experience:

CGMA; AGA(SA); PA(SA); CA(SA) or similar.
At least 1-3 years experience working in an FMCG/Manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.


Salary:


R540,000 - R720,000 CTC per annum, highly dependent on experience and qualifications.
