Cost Accountant

Reference: 9732 SJConsultant: Sone JohnsonJob Description:Responsibilities include:Assist the Costing Accountant by checking and validating creditor invoices received by comparing the information to what is captured on the export system.Keep track of creditor invoices on the invoice checklist and compare the checklist with the invoices captured on the export system.Follow up on invoices and queries as assigned by the Costing Accountant, resolving these queries as promptly as possible.Maintain the deduction logs per grower to ensure accurate cost recharges.Assist with the preparation of the monthly intake reports.Identify any deviations/anomalies and the possible causes thereof.Work closely with the Costing Accountant to ensure all operational costs are captured on the export system and check that they correlate with actual creditor invoices received.Qualifications:Senior CertificateBCom Accounting tertiary diploma/certificateCosting Accounting Experience (1-2 years)Experience in the perishable export industry (desirable)Driver's license and own transportHow to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to ****** you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
