Cost Accountant

Established in the 1960s, my client is a prominent player in the South African food industry, and is known for its diverse range of food products and brands. They have a broad product portfolio that spans various food categories. These include chicken, dairy, sugar, baking, animal feed, and more. The Cost Accountant will play a crucial role within the organization and report directly to the Senior Management Accountant. The role will include forecasting, development, and analysis of financial data, stock management, bill of materials and implementing cost-saving methods, coupled with variance analysis that underpin the financial operations, ensuring seamless coordination across all facets of the financial landscape.
