Cost Accountant

Job & Company Description: Our industry-leading retail client is seeking a meticulous Cost Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. In this role, you will: Analyze retail costs and prepare detailed reports comparing standard costs to actual sales and operational expenses. Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Maintain accurate cost accounting records, ensuring proper allocation of costs across retail operations. Conduct variance analysis to identify cost drivers and suggest improvements for cost optimization. Collaborate with merchandising and operations teams to enhance cost efficiency. Support month-end closing activities, including inventory valuation and cost reporting. Job Experience & Skills Required: BCom Accounting or Cost and Management Accounting degree. CIMA qualification is advantageous. 3-5 years of experience in a cost accounting role, preferably in the retail industry. Apply Now:
