You will be tasked with effectively promoting and selling Dis-Chem cosmetic and beauty products through excellent and consistent customer service.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12 / MatricRetail experience as a sales consultantWilling and able to work retail hoursAdvantageous:Cosmetic, fragrance and/or beauty experienceJob Description:Escalate serious and unresolved customer complaints to the managerProvide a high level of customer care and serviceDemonstrate products through makeovers, cosmetics demonstrations, spray promotions and/or activitiesManage stock levels according to Dis-Chem procedures – report on short, damaged and expired stock to managerEnsure merchandising and displays are set up attractivelyMaximise store income by achieving department, brand and vendor salesKeep up to date regarding products, brands, and the retail industryBe responsible for all cosmetics, fragrances, and beauty house promotionsAdhere to Dis-Chem policies and procedures, SOPs, and health and safety rules and regulationsStrong command of English (written and oral)Be a team playerUnderstand stock reports and sales (target and commission calculations)Work according to a task scheduleSpecial Conditions of Employment:Willing and able to work retail hoursValid driver's license and own reliable transportSouth African citizenClear credit and criminal recordsRemuneration and Benefits:Market-related salaryMedical aidProvident fundStaff accountONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
