Corporate Internal Auditor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Internal Auditor to join a dynamic team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in carrying out internal audits within the organisation, identifying and mitigating areas of risk and non-compliance. This position offers the chance to engage with various business processes throughout the organisation, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
What you'll do: Review organisation's business processesConduct risk analysis and audit planning relevant to the business processesCarry out audits in terms of the IIA Standards and IA MethodologyIdentify shortcomings, inefficiencies, inadequacies in controlsPropose value-added recommendations for improvements to current business processesEvaluate the efficiency of risk management procedures that are in placeProtect against fraud and theft of the organisation's assetsEnsure governance procedures are adhered to and escalate all non-complianceWhat you bring: B Com degree/BTech in Internal Auditing or equivalent qualification (Essential)5 years' experience as a Corporate Internal Auditor (Essential) with 2 at a senior levelProven experience of recommending new systems and controls (Essential)Knowledge of internal audit principles and standardsKnowledge of control systemsKnowledge of risk managementWhat sets this company apart: This company prides itself on its commitment to excellence and innovation.
