Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an experienced and mature Broker Liaison and Medical Aid Specialist to oversee their business development in the Western Cape.

Key ResponsibilitiesBroker Relationship ManagementCultivate and maintain strong relationships with brokers, providing them with information and support to enhance collaboration and meet service standards.Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.Conduct regular visits to brokers, ensuring alignment with service delivery goals.Medical Aid Platform ManagementUtilize various medical aid platforms to manage client information, update records, and facilitate policy adjustments.Oversee the coordination of policy documentation, claims, and billing inquiries with medical aids, ensuring accurate and timely processing.Stay informed on changes in medical aid products, policies, and industry regulations to provide accurate information and guidance to brokers and clients.Leadership and Client RepresentationIndependently manage tasks and deliverables, demonstrating accountability and self-motivation.Exhibit maturity and integrity when handling sensitive client data and confidential information.Represent the company professionally in all interactions, demonstrating leadership qualities that promote trust and dependability.Compliance and ReportingEnsure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate records for audits and quality checks.Prepare and submit regular reports on broker performance, client engagement, and medical aid service metrics.Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing best practices to enhance service efficiency. RequirementsProven experience (minimum 5+ years) working with brokers and medical aids within the financial services or healthcare industry.Demonstrated knowledge of medical aid products, broker management, and relevant platform usage.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on client service.Self-managed and able to work independently, demonstrating high levels of accountability and initiative.Strong ethical standards, with a reputation for integrity and maturity.Leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive results within a service-oriented framework.Proficiency in relevant software and medical aid platforms.
