Corporate Chef

ENVIRONMENT:
A reputable internet service provider based in Pretoria is seeking a creative and skilled Corporate Chef to deliver delicious and nutritious meals for their team. Minimum requirements include a National Senior Certificate and at least 3 years of proven experience as a chef. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary expertise in a corporate setting, contributing to a positive work environment through culinary excellence.

DUTIES: Manage the day-to-day running of the company canteen.Take food orders and receive payments for orders.Prepare, cook, plate, and serve all menu items.Plan and update menu items frequently.Ensure that all food is of excellent quality and is served in a timely manner.Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.Take stock of ingredients and equipment and place orders to replenish stock.Employ food safety best practices at all times and maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.Any ad hoc duties as required by the company.REQUIREMENTS: National Senior Certificate.A minimum of 3 years proven experience as a chef.ATTRIBUTES: Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure.Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
