Role Purpose Unifi is seeking a Corporate Brand Curator to manage and showcase the organisation's cultural assets and help tell our brand story as it unfolds. This role involves curating event photographs, physical memorabilia, and various other cultural assets, as well as writing compelling internal communications. Individuals who are passionate about telling brand stories and who are creative, talented communicators will be an ideal fit for this role.
Responsibilities: Curate and manage Unifi's collection of digital and physical cultural assets such as photographs and branded memorabilia. Develop and maintain an inventory system for cultural assets, ensuring all items are cataloged and accessible. Craft and send out staff notifications when milestones are reached. Collaborate with teams across the organisation to gather stories and content that highlight Unifi's culture and achievements. Collaborate with the teams across Africa to implement office decor/installations that embody Unifi's values, culture and history. Write engaging content for internal communications that resonates with employees and reflects Unifi's culture. Take ownership of Unifi's quarterly newsletter. Create an annual album/yearbook that encapsulates the year's people and events across Unifi. Assist in creating presentations for Unifi's internal and corporate initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends in curation, communications, and branding. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field. 1-3 years of relevant experience in communications, branding, or a similar role. Excellent writing skills with the ability to create compelling narratives. Creative mindset with a passion for curating and showcasing cultural assets. Must be detail-oriented and exceptionally well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to work closely with various teams. Willingness to travel to African countries outside of South Africa.
