To create emotive and engaging copy and deliver on meticulous artwork proofreading in order to deliver on the Clicks 18-month packaging plan.Job Objectives:Meticulous proofreading of all packaging copyCopywriting for packaging materials, e.g., back of pack story copy and instruction manualsConceptualisation: product name ideas and descriptions for the strategic brand and emotive copy that resonates with Clicks customersCopy editing and rewriting copy for instruction manuals & package insertsAd-hoc translations of packaging material from English to Afrikaans and vice versaWorking closely with designersStaying on top of all jobsGreat attention to detail and consistency regarding style guidesExcellent time management and the ability to multitask and perform well under pressureGood written (using MS Office) and verbal communication skillsTeam player with willingness to put in extra effortAbility to multitask across various projectsEducation:1 - 3 year Diploma in copywritingExperience:3 - 5 years copywriter role within an advertising agency or communications environment/companySkills & Knowledge:Ability to write copy (style, content, creativity)Ability to interpret a brief and conceptualise to produce creative solutionsAbility to meet deadlines (time management)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAccurate proofreading skills and rewriting skills for instruction manualsWriting and ReportingAnalysingDelivering Results and Meeting Customer ExpectationsPresenting and Communicating InformationCreating and InnovatingPlanning and Organising
