Your opportunity:

The Coordinator, Staff Networks ("Coordinator") will develop, convene and support staff professional development networks and events forexperiential learning staff who work with community partners across the University. This role will develop innovative networks, programs, services and resources to support experiential learning staff as they work with external communities and grassroots,nonprofit and public organizations. They will also coordinate collaborative projects across divisional and institutional staff to contribute to equitable and reciprocal community partnerships at the University of Toronto. The Coordinator will work actively to promote a culture of community engagement at the University, devising networks, events and resources that attend to access and inclusion and that are rooted in anti-oppressive and assets-based approaches to community engagement. The incumbent will work closely with experiential learning staff, including placement officers and faculty developers, in all units as well as other University staff that support community outreach and engagement.

Your responsibilities will include: Conceptualizing, organizing and executing program activitiesOverseeing the delivery of programs and/or workshopsDeveloping learning outcomes for workshops and/or servicesFacilitating educational workshopsand seminarsAnalyzing and making recommendations for programming enhancementsBuilding and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importanceAdvising others on the development and evaluation of course and training materialsDesigning surveys to support the evaluation of strategies and objectivesEssential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable equivalent combination of education andexperience. Master's degree preferred, in a discipline focused on education, training and development.Minimum five years experience in program development, delivery and evaluation, including significant work experience in community-engaged experiential learning.Demonstrated experience working from an anti-oppressive, and assets based approach to community engagement.Demonstrated understanding of the principles and practices of community-engaged learning.Minimum four years developing programming to meet learning and training outcomes.Significant experience designing staff development programs, services and resources.Experience convening and supporting a staff network.Experience leading the management of large events.Demonstrated exceptional relationship-building and stewardship skills.Able to work collaboratively and collegially.Excellent communication, presentation, training, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated commitment to anti-oppressive and anti-racist practice.Working knowledge of student development and other related theories and the development of learning outcomes for programming.Familiar with experiential learning strategies including, but not limited to, experiential program design, reflection and assessment. USW Pay Band 12 -- $78,308 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $100,144. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
