Job responsibilitiesWe are looking for an outstanding Chef/Cook who's passionate about food and wants to make a difference.
You'll be working 40 hours a week (across 7 days including alternative weekends) at Cygnet The Paddocks, creating an excellent experience for the people in our care.
Cygnet Paddocks is our new specialist Neuropsychiatric rehabilitation service for men.
The service will provide a dedicated care pathway for men affected by acquired brain injury or neurological conditions, where behaviours that challenge are the overarching impairment to recovery and rehabilitation.
The service is now open and accepting referrals.
The individually designed wards will replicate the well-established rehabilitation and treatment pathways already successfully offered by Cygnet in other Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation services; facilitating a clear and distinctive care and treatment pathway led by an all-encompassing in-house clinical and medical team.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook & serve nutritional, balanced and appetising mealsLiaise with nursing colleagues to meet patients' nutritional & dietary needsMaintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas & dining roomEnsure compliance with health & safety standards and Food Hygiene RegulationsHandle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet proceduresUse chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulationsWhy Cygnet?
