Conventional Turner

Key Responsibilities:Operate CNC (not a requirement but will be beneficial) and manual lathes to manufacture components according to specifications and technical drawings.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining processes and specifications.Set up machines, including tool changes and adjustments, to ensure optimal production efficiency.Monitor the machining process for accuracy and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances.Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet required specifications.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations.Collaborate with team members and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining preferred.Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of machining processes and technical drawings.Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.
).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
