MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:The aim of a Monitoring Centre Associate I is to handle incoming signals and the monitoring of all Response and Patrol resources.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:Grade 12 (Matric)Grade C PSIRA RegisteredResponsibilities and duties:AdministrationMonitor and action emergency and non-emergency signalsPhoning of the Premises/ Clients/ Key holdersRecording all relevant information into the activations by means of computerRecord and report all incidents and accidents to the senior on dutyEnsure all relevant administrative work and handled signals are completedMonitoring and action of vehicle violationsUpdating of timesheetsCOMPUTERS AND EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENTReport any faults to the appropriate authority on dutyNot abuse the use of company telephones for private telephone callsEffective use and compliance of safety and zero harm standardsTIDINESS OF THE MONITORING CENTREResponsible for a clean and tidy workstationCLIENT LIAISONTelephonic assistance with any problems or complaintsUpdating of client information i.e. holiday instructions/other client information to be given to Monitoring Associate IV/VReporting of any faulty alarm systems through the appropriate channel(s)Sales leads to be recorded and reported through the appropriate channel(s)GENERALHave sound knowledge about all facets pertaining to your positionAttend all required meetings and training sessionsNot abuse company telephone for private callsSTANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURESStanding Operating Procedures must be upheldMeeting and keeping on agreed upon service level and performance targetsHigh standard of service must be upheldADHOCAssisting with other ad-hoc tasks and projects as and when requiredWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
