CONTROL ASSISTANT MANAGER

We require the services of a Control Room Assistant Manager/Administrator to join our team in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
The main purpose of the position will be to manage and train staff, investigate and deal with client complaints, and monitor operator and dispatcher stacks. Responsibilities include responding to incidents and handling incoming calls.
Required Skills:

Listener Experience: 3 to 4 years
Client Focused: 2 to 3 years
Psira Grade B: 2 to 3 years
Excellent English: 10 years or more

Candidate Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Psira Grade B registration & accreditation
Minimum 4 - 5 years Operator and Dispatcher experience within a control centre environment
Managerial experience
Knowledge of armed response and CCTV equipment

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Computer Literacy (MS Office)
Listener (3 years)
Easy Roster
Articulate and able to communicate on all levels – face to face, telephonically, and via email
Fluent in English with excellent writing skills
Planning & Organisational skills
Customer care, client liaison, client complaints, and relationship building skills
Excellent telephone etiquette
Good report writing skills
Excellent listening skills
Able to handle pressure and stay cool, calm, and collected under stressful situations
Staff management

GENERAL:

RSA citizen
Valid unendorsed driver's license
Clear criminal record
Good contactable references
Flexible working hours – work shifts and extended working hours, etc.
