Control and Instrumentation EngineerA multi-discipline engineering and construction company based in Secunda is currently looking for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer.ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, industrial protocols, and communication networks.Solid understanding of control theory, instrumentation principles, and process automation.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI).Knowledge of Functional Safety.Knowledge of Intrinsic Safety.Knowledge of AutoCAD (beneficial).Proficient in MS Office.Knowledge of Instrument Procurement & Inspection (beneficial).Knowledge of Honeywell DCS and ESD systems & interfacing with Honeywell.Valid Drivers Licence (Code B/EB) and the ability to drive vehicles with a manual transmission.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work under pressure.Desired Experience & QualificationBEng/BSc in Electronic Engineering or related field.Previous work experience in Basic, Detailed design (Datasheets, Loop drawings, Cable schedules/Block Diagram, RAT List, C&E & Narratives) or construction projects for the Oil and Gas sector.5+ years' experience in Control and Instrumentation.Experience in Sasol plants will be beneficial.Shortlisted applicants will be contacted within 2 weeks.
